Patients & Visitors at Longmont United Hospital

Longmont United Hospital is open 24/7 and welcomes visitors any time unless the patient or doctor requests for times without visitors. Rest and a quiet environment are essential to healing so please keep visits short and noise levels low. To help promote your loved one’s healing and to prevent spread of disease, please wash your hands when entering or leaving the room and postpone your visit if you are ill. Children may visit only if supervised by an adult at all times.

When is the Gift Shop open?

The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m. The gift shop has many items, such as magazines, card, flowers, gifts and candy. The Longmont United Hospital Volunteers sponsor the Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is located in the hospital’s main lobby. The phone number is 303.485.4173.

Where can a visitor get coffee and something to eat? 

The ArtWalk Café offers a wide variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
ArtWalk Café Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. | Weekends and Holidays 8:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.

For the gourmet coffee enthusiast, The Coffee Cart, located in the Main Lobby, is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The Pulse Café, located in the Emergency Dept, offers gourmet coffee, pizza, muffins, salads, yogurt, fruit and more.

Coffee is available in the family dining areas located on each floor.

For security reasons the main lobby entrance is locked at 9:00 p.m.

Proceed to the Emergency Department Welcome Desk to receive your Visitor ID sticker. We want to keep our patients safe and you safe.

Transportation to the Hospital

Bus schedules are available at the main information desk between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. For direct assistance, visit RTD Denver. Where do I park?

Treat yourself to valet parking!
Longmont United Hospital offers FREE valet parking to all of our patients and visitors. Simply drive to the main entrance and our friendly parking attendants will keep your car safe until you are ready to leave. Plus, they have a strong commitment to making your visit as comfortable and convenient as possible. Our valet service operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and tipping is not required!

Is it OK to bring food from home for a patient in Longmont United Hospital?

Our family kitchens offer unique options for patient dining. Food may be prepared here or brought from home, if it has been arranged with your nurse and is allowed in the diet prescribed by your physician.
