Please consult with our Nutrition Therapist and our Medical Herbalists for guidance on the correct nutritional supplementation and herbal medicine products.
Medical Herbalism Consultations
Medical Herbalism Consultations help patients understand how to effectively use natural, botanical remedies also known as medicinal herbs. Many of today’s pharmaceutical drugs are based on natural, botanical plants’ chemical components and active ingredients. Medicinal herbs work with the body’s own healing mechanism to support wellness and may have a lower incidence of undesirable side effects. Medical Herbalism Consultations are recommended for people who want to use medicinal herbs to support their wellness with the guidance of a Medical Herbalist who collaborates with their physician and other health care providers and is knowledgeable about medicinal herb and pharmaceutical drug interactions.
Nutrition Therapy Consultations
Daily diet and the condition of the digestive tract directly influence a person's state of health or disease. In Nutrition Therapy Consultations, patients learn how to improve their health through the addition or subtraction of specific foods and nutritional supplements with the guidance of a Nutrition Therapist. Nutrition Therapy Consultations are ideal for people who want to use food as their medicine and enhance their health through the daily practice of eating healthier foods. We also recommend these consultations for patients living with food allergies and sensitivities, gastric reflux, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, weight loss or gain, insulin resistance, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, endocrine imbalances and cancer.
